He was the second king of Israel and ancestor of the Messiah. It is also a name referenced in the Gospel of Matthew, applied to the virgin birth and Jesus as the Messiah.\" href=\" \">Immanuel <\/a> ,<br \/>\nThe virgin&#8217;s son<sup><a href=\"#footnote9\">9<\/a> <\/sup><a id=\"note9\"><\/a>; Wise <a style=\"background-color: #ffffff; color: #ee4000; text-decoration: none;\" title=\"Daniel is the hero of the Book of Daniel. In his narrative, he is captured by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He serves the king and his successors while remaining true to the God of Israel, even when held in a lion's den. This covenant breaks the generational curse of original sin if they believe in Jesus Christ, after people are judged for their own sins, which is believed to happen with the second coming of Jesus Christ.
